The Links That Pay Commission

Tour links here lead to a small number of booking platforms, the same ones that handle the card products and most day trips to Bled, Postojna and the coast. The free walking tours run through GuruWalk, where guides are paid by tip rather than a fixed fee. Alongside tours there are partner links for accommodation, car hire, transfers, luggage storage, rail and coach tickets, eSIMs and audio guides. A booking made through any of them pays this site a commission. Nothing is added to what the reader pays; the cost is the same as it would be booked directly.

Where Nothing Is Earned

Much of what this site covers carries no commercial link at all. The Old Town lanes, Prešeren Square, the riverside walk, the climb through the castle grounds: free, and described without a booking button in sight. Anything arranged directly with an operator pays this site nothing either. The aim is a page where free options and bookable ones sit side by side, so the comparison stays honest rather than tilted.

What Money Does Not Change Here

Ranking here is done on merit. No operator has paid for a place on this site, for a higher position, or for a flattering write-up, and none will be offered any of that. Where a rating or review count appears beside a tour, it is the figure the booking platform itself publishes, never one invented here. Price figures are not lifted onto these pages; the live booking page is where the current number belongs, and that is where readers are sent for it. A tour with no paying link gets exactly the same assessment as one with.
